Artist Statement
MUSIC: Tee Obee
Tim “Tee Obee” O’Brien’s favorite record is the one he hasn’t heard yet, driving him to dig endlessly to find the most eclectic and exceptional music committed to wax. Whether it’s a danceable set of house cuts, cerebral ambient, global rare groove, disco bangers, or pure Prince deep cuts, expect a well curated experience. Each set is hand-selected from his massive and growing record collection from all over the world. You won’t find him playing out often, but when you do, you can expect to go on a journey. If you want a song selector experience that plays to the room while revealing killer cuts that have fallen through the cracks of time, Tee Obee is your one-stop-shop.
ARTIST: Christopher T Wood
Christopher T Wood is a Milwaukee based Artist, Designer, Educator, and Pataphysician. He engages in collaborations with forces of nature and chance, and his endeavors propose imaginary solutions to impossible problems. Recently, Christopher served eight weeks as the 2023 Artist in Residence at The Dome House in Door County, facilitated by the Miller Art Museum, and as the 13th Artist In Residence at the Pfister Hotel. His work, exhibited widely in galleries and museums, is also housed in private collections across the United States and several international collections. He is represented at Portrait Society Gallery of Contemporary Art.
JEWELRY DESIGN: Sue Stipan
Sue Stipan is a craftswoman and jewelry designer that brings detail and value to everything she does. Inspired by a range of materials and approaches, she never stops searching for a new ways to express herself. She has been working with her hands her whole life, allowing her a quick mastery of a variety of jewelry-making techniques. A maker of true multitudes, one can expect everything from the elegant to the playful, Stipan brings a range that truly offers something for everyone while offering a piece of herself in every piece that she lovingly crafts.
