Scheduled featured artists for BVGN at our taproom include Dawn Carrillo from ReMuse and her collection of old paintings that are repurposed and spruced up with the addition of notable pop culture characters, and Andrew Hatlevig from Stifflizard’s Realm, a digital art project that creates new mystical creatures and worlds conjured up in the deepest parts of his mind.

Stories of the Streets welcomes interdisciplinary artist Basha Harris and their small batch, bespoke jewelry to the showroom.

Enlightened will be welcoming our friend Margaret Muza for Bay View Gallery Night again for a Tintype Photography pop-up. She’ll be taking tin-type portraits on-site on various size plates that develop before your eyes, then they’re available to you after she applies a durable finish at her studio. Enlightened will have fresh beer and Sweet Smoke BBQ will be serving food from 5-7pm or until they run out.

Local artist Julian Correa will be displaying original paintings and artwork. Other artists TBA. We will have food and drink specials during the event. Details on specials TBA.

Bay View ceramic artist Michael Ware will be showing his latest abstract ceramic sculptures along with a selection of recent functional wood fired and 3D printed pottery. Michaels complex and vibrant sculptures pair well with 1840’s beverages, it’s a match made in hop heaven.

Open Studio and Sale. Roxane will be showing her encaustic works (beeswax and resin) and cold wax paintings, along with smaller gift items. For the event, Roxane will share her space with an installation of hundreds of ATC’s (Artist Trading Cards) created in collaboration with a group of local artists.

Lion’s Tooth co-owner Cris Siqueira presents a series of collages mixing original drawings and lenticular photography, inspired by her work-in-progress comic “May You Get What You Want”. Cris is a Brazilian cartoonist, multimedia artist and 2023-2024 Ruth Arts Mary L. Nohl Alumni Award fellow.

Semolina MKE is proud to host artist Angela DeStefanis whose work includes hand woven textiles, paintings, and potted succulents. As in previous years, we will be sampling wines, cheeses, and other Italian products throughout the evening.

Christina Persika of Persika Design Co. is a Milwaukee-based mixed-media artist, designer and muralist. Her work features motifs of nature and fauna that are infused with folk art, mysticism, and influences from her Scandinavian heritage. Christina’s work meets the worlds of fine and applied arts through her joyful creations of original paintings, art prints, greeting cards, and hand-made objects.

The Milwaukee Makerspace has over 600 members at 2 different locations, so the makers who will be displaying their art and works could be the widest variety you’ll find on a gallery night. There’s Stained Glass, Pottery, Woodworking, Metals, Leather, Lasers, 3D Printing, Textiles, Printing, Painting, Electronics, Machining, Jewelry… & so much more! There will be vendors as well as exhibits of works, and light refreshments. If you’ve ever wondered about that peculiar brick building at Otjen and Lenox, come in and meet us and see all the cool stuff we make!

This charming Bay View business will be featuring several different artists from Wisconsin and beyond, with all of their beautiful paintings priced to sell! Also to feature a book signing / DVD sale by Oliver Bestul, local author of the chapter book series “The Zodiac Dozen” and co-director of the horror film “Poppit”. ART! by Jason Krukowski. Welcome to my art studio showcasing my originals and prints! The theme is Milwaukee, love and romance, all captured in illustration or paintings. Lot’s to see and explore. A favorite by many!

Amara will host Fanny of M&F FLORAL + DÉCOR; a bespoke Floral Designer and Event Décor Stylist who will be showcasing her floral arrangements and have them available to purchase as a takeaway. Inspired by the free-form beauty of florals seen in nature in the way they naturally grow, Fanny M. designs each piece with the intention to evoke/capture those same elements, movements, and emotions from nature to your space. Fanny was voted people’s choice award three days in a row during her first year (2023) participating at Art in Bloom held at the Milwaukee Art Museum.

Staff art show and wine/food samples from a host of local vendors. Featuring Sarah Talaska (paintings), Paul Kenok (pottery), Matthew Tomczak (illustrations), Reese, Eva Nimtz Franco, Summer Bobber, and Matt Flipiak

Surprise art install in the Lou Gallery (the smallest bathroom gallery in Milwaukee) plus a mini market.

In collaboration with visual artists, Jules Borden, Corrigan Eckert, and Alexa Rojo, children from the Arts and Science Literacy Camp (ASLC) have created original one of kind artwork to be sold at gallery night. All proceeds will be used to support the camp’s scholarship program.
