Centraal Grand Café & Tappery is excited to announce that as part of its recent renovation, a new gallery space has been created to show artists from around the world or around the corner at events like Bay View Gallery Night. Being inspired by Centraal station in Amsterdam, Centraal Grand Café & Tappery has launched appropriately with a large exhibition of original prints from Dutch Artist, Eddy Varekamp.
Event Contains: Prints, Paintings
Eddy Varekamp is an Amsterdam-based artist, whose work includes many themes like music, animals, Amsterdam street scenes, and love life. A local fixture in Amsterdam, Varekamp’s playful work is recognized by its simple, figurative forms and striking use of bold colors. Eddy is known for his fine handmade linocut and stencil prints, as well as his paintings and ceramics, which are all available in his cozy gallery in the ‘Nine Street Area’ in the middle of Amsterdam’s canal district at Hartenstraat 30.
Nestled in the heart of downtown Bay View at the corner of KK and Lincoln, Cafe Centraal boasts an amazing brick courtyard, a brand-new private room, one of the city's longest bars, and unrivaled ambiance and energy throughout the space.
