My peaceful, distant vistas encourage meditation, relaxation, and reflection.” Kelly Tanner: “The inspiring thing about art is it's an expression of how the artist feels and what they see. Photography, in particular, is wonderful in this regard which is one reason I love taking photographs myself, but also appreciate and love to observe how other people take pictures.” Michele Tegen: My medium is feathers and I create Spirit Feather items that include; jewelry, wands, fetishes and sculpture. All of the feathers used in my work are found (gifted) or gifted to me by others that find them. Sacred Copal (Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils from Native American Nutritionals) sprays will be available and can also be customized this evening. Karen Williams-Brusubardis: Growing up in the woods, I was inspired by the natural world, "Observing life cycles and patterns in nature as well as how humans interact with that system is a very spiritual experience for me." I will be exhibiting mixed media drawings on paper and wire wrapped jewelry.
